More story? Please? Pretty please, with holly and mistletoe on top?

New analogy: reading this story is like having an exciting summer fling with a guy you immediately click with, and you spend every day together, and it's so great...until he has to leave town and suddenly you can only see each other sometimes on the weekends...and after a while he hardly ever calls anymore...and you keep hoping maybe at Christmas he'll come back and everything will be like before...

Sorry, I know you have a life, and this much writing takes a lot of work. But I'm madly in love with your story and I really want to find out what happens next!

A new chapter!! This totally made my day. :D
Interesting how you did that, introducing a new character without discontinuity because of the whole door-fixing job which was already established. I definitely like Sebastian; Remus needs some friends and Sebastian seems like a likely candidate. But now I really want to know how this conversation goes, about all that relationship stuff! I can't wait to see how Severus responds and where it all leads...this is the problem with serial novels, you always have to wait in suspense. Ah well...on the other hand, it lasts longer, and I do rather like spending time in the world of this story you've created. But we will get the next bit soon? I know a week is probably a bit much to ask for, but a month feels so long.... Dear writer, do keep writing! It's like having to eat a delicious chocolate cake one bite at a time, in five minute intervals.

So that was a good chapter but I am very anxious to see if Severus will assure Remus that Sebastian is just a friend whatever Sebastian might wish. At least that's what I'm hoping the situation is. Teddy continues to be the world's child with mostest!

I have been really enjoying your story, it is one of the few I currently check just to see if it has updated. I am starting to worry, I hope you are well and just have been to busy, but please.....it is not nice to get someone addicted and then cut them off. Again let me tell you how very much I am enjoying the story and that I am looking forward to seeing where you go with it. Lynda

I know life gets busy, and we readers have been quite spoiled with your quick updates in the past, but...
    There will be more...right?

This is an amazing story! I love how the characters have developed, how Snape and Remus are becoming friends (rather than pretending they always had feeling for each other, even when they were kids, like other lazy stories do. I love when people stick to the books, and only take a minimal amount of creative license, and work around that existing storyline. You really know what you are doing as an author. Love it!

I was rereading old chapters today and had a thought - can Remus use his magic now? Since the bond has happened, and the rules say nothing against it? Just wondering.

I really liked this chapter. It was oddly soothing by the end of it.

I like when we get surprised by our stories. It is strange how that happens, you think "oh I have this idea" and when you start it's fine and then "BAM!" it morphs, twists and then rebuilds itself, all without a ton of forethought. Your writing style is nice because I can feel as I read it. Love that. And I have found that chapters that get away from you sometimes end up being the gems of the story. I can't wait for more.

I was with Remus all of Chapter 35, no idea WHAT Snape was up to...I think my train of thought went something like: wait, why is Snape agreeing to this so easily? Oh, good, there'll be rules about it, I bet it's all a trick and the rules will be- wait, no, they aren't restrictive at ALL. umm, this is so not okay. SNAPE. what are you doooiiiing???
I had zero idea what was going on. Is he going to lock the guy in the basement? Is this the full moon already somehow and he's going to stick him in there with Remus when he transforms? Then it was so obvious when it happened, I can't believe I didn't think of it - and it's not all that easy for a book to completely surprise me with a plot twist.
I thought about it afterwards and I don't think it could've happened any other way - if Severus had given Remus any indication that he wasn't completely serious about going through with it, the inspector would've caught on and would never have signed the papers and followed Snape into a basement. And Snape did need to get him alone for that. I was annoyed at him at first, though, putting Remus through such emotional craziness. Their little scene in the basement afterwards was quite a nice surprise, though I'm glad Snape gave him an actual, proper apology later, too.
And the bit with Teddy at the end was so great! That was a perfect picture - Severus, all emotional and confused and surprised, looking over to see Remus' reaction...I wish this story had a movie version, or at least a good artist to illustrate. Though the words do paint the picture, too :) And if Snape can tell Teddy he loves him, then who knows, maybe someday in the future Snape might just be able to say that to Teddy's father...all in due time, of course...(which reminds me, I do still wonder about Snape's word choice that one time when he said he'd always found Remus attractive. Always? Does that mean anything, or was that an entirely objective observation from teenage-Severus? Hmm...)

Also, loved this: "Remus was trying to ignore the irony of Severus defending his exposed son from the cruelty and derision of someone more powerful than him, while he himself had done nothing but walk away when Severus had needed someone to do that for him years ago when they were boys." You've managed to develop these characters beyond their original story lines without ignoring or forgetting about the history these men have. Nicely done.

Another great chapter! You're very good at keeping us on the edge of our seats! I was afraid for Teddy and Remus for a bit there! It's such a well-written story, and I love how you're keeping it interesting! Keep it up! (I also appreciate how you snuck a little sexy time in there!)

Very emotional chapter...more than usual. So glad Severus could come up with something so quickly to prevent that inspector from taking Remus for the night or doing something else horrible. I don't think he can do that every time though. They will wonder why all inspectors to that house end up with headaches even though the house passes inspection easily. Maybe Harry can tell him why the inspector's name seems familiar.
