I don't know why, since I've read sadder stories, but this chapter had me crying and the poem at the end just capped it off. Maybe I picked up the feeling from Severus that this is the end of him and Ron, or maybe it was the graveyard or ghost Harry showing up, definitely when Bill and George came into the bar and hugged Ron. Just one more chapter? Can it be enough to resolve everything? Now my tea is all watered down and salty.

I like the fact that Ron knows and recognizes that Severus is expecting his complete rejection after this, and how he collapses in the bathroom after everything has calmed a little, crying from his conflicted feelings. He is in for a long healing

But damn this was the most beautiful, heartbreaking, fantastic chapter to date. Woman, I bow to your Ron and Severus greatness!!! One more chapter left, eep!!!

Sweet Jaysis, girl! Way to squeeze my guts. :*(

Well, thank goodness for Ron that Albus, even in death, manages to call Severus out on his neurotic shit. True I'm a fangirl, but that doesn't stop the urge to want to grab him by the shoulders and shake him.

    "What's wrong with you?!"

    "I'm tragic. That's what."

(with the best Cher from Moonstruck I can muster) "SNAP OUT OF IT!"

One more chapter, eh? I can see this going either way truthfully. I await breathlessly.

I love, love, LOVE your stories! I suck at getting around to reviewing, but really have to in this case. You've struck gold AGAIN with yet another great take on Ron/Severus. I'm really enjoying the more insecure, inexperienced Severus and the more knowledgeable Ron this time around. Keep up the great work-- I can't tell you how happy it makes me when I see an update from you :)

How poignant. Tissues litter my desk, I don't think Severus's day necessarily went downhill but around a corner.

The parting shot in the graveyard was a clear indicator of that - he wouldn't be back. The fact that he recognized the look on Ron's face before he left him of relief and not anger opened those damn emotional flood gates of mine and never let go.

Just as I had hoped! Perfection.

yes! so it was his family. but how it was done was awesome. severus getting advice from albus about how to deal with the situation and giving him the push he needed to do what was right.

and here is hopping that everything works out like albus said.

Reviewing a day after I read this. Had to let it digest. I'm frustrated with Severus. He's so into Ron, yet those mental comments make me wonder. He calls Ron a whore in his mind and worse thoughts. I know he hates himself; I'm like that alot. Anyway, you did a good job of showing how broken Severus is. Ron sure was cuddly and rather clingy. Squee! at Draco's entrance and finding out Snape's other preference. Loved seeing Ron being free and then bit my lip when they started to really get into that truth or dare game. Meant to say in the previous chapter is part of Ron's suffering trying to see Harry or maybe trying to see Hermione? I do hope they both get out of their confining ruts. Anyway I enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions and that very nervous will Ron be caught part.

Yes, well, thank you for the image of Ron in a corset and fishnets. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with that. It's just this sort of thing that makes me giggle at inappropriate times and causes those around me ask "What?"

Neurotic really isn't used by mental health professionals anymore but if one ever needed a point of reference as to the meaning of the word, look at Severus.

I half expect the dear man to be found one day, scrubbing the tiles of his kitchen with a toothbrush and muttering 'Dirt. Dirt everywhere.'

He's also the kind of person who when you say 'nice day, what?' he spends the next few hours wondering about what you really meant by that.

Sorry, came back from my mini-vacation (Portugal is beautiful, and it only grows more every year, I swear so), and had had to catch up on my reading.

I knew there were going to be problems. Severus was, somehow, almost too accepting of everything. It hits him hard, just who he is with. Although I believe that does not mean he regrets it (or *truly* regrets it), or wants to stop, the entire weight of Ron

I love the push and pull these two seem to be doing. Severus pushing the boundries as Ron pushes back and now vice versa seems to be happening with the additional force of Severus pulling back. I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us next (especially if Draco lives up too his threat of wanting details when they go back to work).

    Great job.

This whole chapter was wonderful. Even though Severus was letting his demons get to him at the end I loved it. From Draco coming over to announce his engagement (Awww) to the drunken reveals. Sirius? Really? No wonder Severus hated Black so much, it must have been such a blow when Sirius sent him to Remus. Has Severus realized he's fallen in love with Ron and is terrified of it? Does Ron love Severus? I can't wait for the next chapter, even if it does put us closer to the end.

    awesome chapter as usual. ^_^
draco finding out his godfather was gay, loved it. i got a little tense at that moment, i was 'oh no! ron's gonna come walking down & all hell is gonna break loose' but it didn't go that way and i'm glad and kinda disappointed at the same time. like i wanted them to be found out but not. so i'm glad how it turned out.

also that q & a part with the truth potion, awesome. ^_^
