I truly LOVE this story!!! I like that the plot is so well thoght and if it isn't it seems like it. I love everything seems in-character( for the most part), most of the stories I see like this are AU, crack, or exaggerated so much it shouldn't even be considered fanfiction, much less acceptable. Your story is the inspration for many song-fics, one-shots, and regular old fiction(i.e. not HP but OC's). Your writing is really easy to submerge into and I positively CANNOT wait for your next chapter!! XD

P.S. If you ever want a beta to help you with any grammar or American lingo/terminology feel free to email me, I'd be happy to assist and take part in this epic story.:)

Personally my guess was always that the Harry we read about is just one of his personalitys and that he actually has dissociative personality disorder( Or "split" personalities). The happy go lucky Harry we see is just a part that fractured off that never had to deal with the abuse because he didn't consiously acknowledge it happening to him to the depth that it must have. His very psyche fractured under the intense abuse. How else to you think he managed to kill Voldie? I mean really with a stupefy? I've always wanted to write a dark angsty fic in which Harry realises that his life isn't as wonderful as he thinks it is and starts to question his very identity and who he really is but meh, I have have a degree in psychology to finish up :P

well, that's those sad excuses for muggles out of the way... now sev is free and clear to care for his har. dumbles might be a prob but sev has gone about it all legal like so i don't think he'll be an issue either.
still, considering sev is still leashed to voldi, won't that cause problems?

I was hoping for more revenge for Harry but it's alright. He's out of there now. Still waiting for Ron & 'Mione to find out & I hope be put in their place by Snape. Dumbledore also!

    he's out of there now

    Great chapter, like always :)

I'm looking forward to see Snape with the Dursleys... Though I may have to read it with a pillow to hide behind, because I've got a feeling that Snape may get a little, tiny bit angry in the really scary way that only he can :P

I would like to refer you to the book named " A child called "It" " by David Pelzer .It tells the story of a boy who, from a very young age, is abused very badly by his mother. It is even worse then Harry because she activly abuses him like making him eat from a toilet or try to poison him. She also keeps him locked up in the basement when he gets back from school. This is a TRUE story. He finally goes to a foster home when he is roughly the age Harry was when he went to Hogwarts. There are many comparisons. And yet this young man manages to go beyond his abuse, changing foster homes and even manages to marry a nice woman and have kids. Just because you go though hell doesn't mean you will end up screwed for life. Yes, Rowling didn't go into enough depth on the abuse but you are doing it to much. There is absolutly zero hope in Harrys life and that is what is unrealistic. In real life abuse victims are sometimes( though rarely) treated well and that is why so many stay in these kind of relationships. They look back on those rare instances of happiness and manage to hide the truth of teh matter from themselves. They tell themselves, thats not really my abuser. My abuser is actually a good guy. He is actually my uncle so he must love me. When he does terrible things to me its because I deserve it but really he loves me. That is the sadest part.

Terrific chapter! I worry more about what Dumbledore will say about their bonding. I think Sev can make the Dursleys sign but Dumbledore?
I don't trust him. After all he put Harry with the Dursleys & kept him there also all the other dangerous things. Oh but I want them to bond!! And also to put Hermione & especially Ron in their place! What will Draco think of his Godfather, like an Uncle to him, bonded or married to a fellow student & one he is always fighting with? I reread the whole thing today - loved it all over again & can't wait for the next chapter!

how is he going to get the dursleys to agree? they aren't exactly co coperative to magical folk and vernon will lose his chew toy.
also, that's a bit mean. deliberately pushing har knowing he can't hold out so he has an excuse to punish him, even if he did it to try and build up some trust. that could've backfired badly.

Sorry for not posting a review earlier. The last few chapters are simply amazing. I am very happy each time I see a new chapter for your fic. The relationship between Harry and Snape evolves really good, even when I read the part where Severus decided to bond with Harry I was a little surprised because it was for me a bit too fast, let's just say Harry needs it really bad. Anyway even when Severus explored the more BDSM part of their relationship, he succeded to be somewhat sweet (never tell him I said that or I will become really tiny potion ingredients!)
I am impatient to see the confrontation with the Dursley! I hope Severus will make them suffer!
    Thank you for the chapter!

I'll join Jean in his opinion on this chapter - with a bit less enthusiasm about the bonding however. You know how Jean is, evil, he can be a bit, let me say, childish sometimes, a typical Gryffindor. Sometimes I really wonder how I ever managed living with this idiot for such a long time.
But I very much like this story
