A balanced conversation between Harry and Snape! Wow! You've had a lot of work to get them to this point.

So good to read this chapter and see things settle down at last between Harry and Severus. I can think of no other man I'd want at my side or at my back if I were Harry, than Severus. He's proven himself over and over again, as a capable and cunning man. And one that is devoted once he gives his word, no matter how much he snarks or snarls. If anyone can help find out the truth about Voldie returning, it's Severus. *breathes a long sigh of relief* Thanks!

So, is this story going into a second arc? I had the impression this story was
    going to be 'short'.

Thank goodness. Snape and Harry are *finally* able to have a civil conversation with each other. Very promising, very good chapter.

P.S. Forgot to say in my previous review how impressed I was by the ritual. Quite imaginative!

That ritual was well-written and very imaginative. The rites you came up with, and the way that the three of them acted in concert was remarkable, and I'm so glad that they all got something out of it that eased the dark emotions that they'd been feeling since the bond was enacted. I'll be particularly relieved if this lessens Harry pre-occupation with his hatred and resentment and makes him more of a reasonable person. Hopefully that will happen with Snape as well. I'm tired of him being so ultra-Snapey.
I'm looking forwards to seeing just where the next chapters take us and what the three men will do now. There's so much that they could do with the bond, but the fierce individualism of Harry and Severus would make keeping it impossible. That's a pity. Thanks for another very good chapter, yours is a very good tale, and even when it is frustrating me, it's still impressing me.

Wow. What a powerful scene. Loved the description of how the weight from their memories lifted from each one.

Oooo to the weee! O_o Can't be anymore vindictive than that can we?
Too bad they haven't discussed staying in the bond where it can be useful in
other ways. In what ways, I'm too tired to think of them right now.

Amazing chapter. I love to see them working together finally, even if it is grudgingly. They are a powerful union when they are working together, ruthless and smart, and very difficult to beat. The curse that you have come up with to punish the Lestranges is brilliant, and I am looking forwards to their reactions when they learn of it, and understand that their goal has failed. I don't think there could be anything worse than being wiped from existence...to leave no trace behind. It is a very apt death for them.
Thanks for the update. Great job!

Very well written story. I have to say i really like the fact that your characters are human, even if they do frustrate me sometimes with their slowness, at least it is real. Stories where a bond is formed or any stories with Draco/Harry/Snape in any combinations, normally end up becoming OC. They get along really quickly and their perception of each others changes just as quickly, that there seems to be no transition. Your story frustated me a bit because the change was just not happening, too slow. It was like going one step forward, two step backward. I was surprised that Draco was the first one to accept everything, which i think was actually a wise choice. I was glad that they had a breakthrough in this chapter though I am really not sure how you are going to get them together what with the start being with a rape... it is going to be hard. but i think it should be interesting enough.

I'm glad you got Severus out of that funk he was in, it was kind of
    unnerving.

...and when did Harry become Albus Dumbledoreish? It's good though..

oooohhhh yeahhhhh... definitely an awesome plan on Harry's part and I loved how he wouldn't really tell Snape what was going on lol. Poor Snape... freaking out and not wanting to think about how he might feel lol.

I also really liked how it wasn't Harry and Snape sailing in and saving Draco but Harry giving Draco the means to save himself and his bondmates. All three of them are very strong personalities and very independent so for each of them to depend on another is a really big deal. The fact that Harry gave Draco the ability to defeat their enemies and trusted him to do it shows a change in how he views Draco even if he doesn't realize it himself yet. And it also had the benefit of not putting Draco in a position where he is weaker than the other two which is something each of them want.

I really like how the situations show the subtle changes in each of them. It flows seamlessly. Nicely done :)

Wow! Awesome chapter! I loved that Harry was so forceful and so organized as to take all of that trap on and solve it practically single handedly. With hardly any help from a scared Snape, who pretty much fell apart at the first sign of danger. That Snape, huh?! Doesn't have much experience with scary situations so he falls apart at the first sight of one. He also doesn't know much of anything about defending himself, or about the Dark Arts. It's no wonder Harry had to look at him so disdainfully--like the former spy and Death Eater was a frightened child.
*sighs* This really was a very good chapter except for the way that Snape was portrayed. He's my favourite character, and the one that I would save if I have the right, so I was a lot disappointed to see him written like a slow, scared newbie when he should have been an enormous asset at Harry's back, doing all that he could with all that he knows to protect them until Harry could get his spell in motion. Great idea for a spell, though! I really did mean that I liked the way that Harry stepped up and took charge. He did good. And so did Draco, when he understood what Harry had done. Thanks for the update.

It's odd to say this, but it's nice to see that things have calmed down a bit now that Harry is clearer-headed. He managed to perform the impossible just in time to make very good use of their bond. Draco definitely needs their help and they need to help Draco so it's good that Severus and Harry can find some common ground to work together. Really, I can't think of anyone I'd rather have at my back than Severus...including Harry. All of this is coming together just in time to rescue Draco, and I have to say that I'm really looking forwards to the Lestrange brothers getting their due.
