Second review after reading other peoples thoughts.

People, you're stating the obvious. Of course the affair is going to ruin their personal relationships, but honestly, isn't that why people engage in them in the first place? They don't have the balls to properly address the true issues in the relationship and so they act out in other destructive ways to bring it all crashing down around them.

We all know Ron isn't the brightest bulb and honestly, why JKR thought they should be together is beyond me. That being said, Ron trying to force Harry to be with his sister is the wrong thing to do. No one but the people involved in the relationship know what has actually been going on, and they are the only individuals in the relationship who can judge if its worth saving, if they have it in them. Poor ickle Ronniekins is under the illusion that is often in fanfic, that if he thinks things should be a certain way than everyone ought to do what he says.

I think this story is doing a really good job of showing the various twisted positions of everyone in the story. No one here is an angel, and it's about time people realized that all those things together have impact. It never is JUST one persons fault, it's many things coming together that cause a relationship to get to this point.

This chapter was hard for me to read, because Harry really just seems even more sick and twisted. For a time there was the illusion that they were sexually involved because they both needed something they couldn't get at home, some of it mental, a lot of it primal need and expression. In this chapter you've written Harry as though he is just a selfish a-hole, much like my ex-husband and most likely why I found him so repulsive. Even with all of this I'm giving it another chapter to see if I can continue reading your original and well done story.

I thought WesleyY7's review was right on the money. The short-term pleasure that comes with infidelity may seem like it's worth it, but... it is going to tear their families apart.

Did Hermione weigh losing her husband and the respect of her husband's family when she engaged in this affair? Did Harry consider the possibility of only being able to see his kids every other weekend if they find out (which they will).

It's never worth it, then again, saying that and resisting that delicious bowl of ice cream that's sitting in front of you ready to be devoured is a different thing (Harry is the ice cream to Hermione, by the way.)

Still, Hermione seems to not think too highly of Ron, and Harry IS a bastard. Like... a serious one.

(You may be wondering why I'm reviewing so much, it's simply because I decided to do a bit extra for the people who don't =] This story, despite its difficult themes, or perhaps I should say BECAUSE of its difficult themes, deserve more reviews. Plus, I promised. =])

I read Brandon's review and I have to say it was amusing, but I agree.

I don't think it's really hit Hermione and Harry yet exactly how much they're risking by carrying on this affair. It almost seems like a game to them. It's like the risk itself is what's making it more attractive.

Not only that, Teddy seeing them is bad. I wonder if Harry is going to do a memory charm on him. That would be... bad, but something I would expect this Harry to do. He doesn't seem as good as usual, more like Dark!Harry. Way dark...

But like Brandon said, you've got me hooked. I can't wait to see where the story goes.

Okay, chapter nine is great. Like... a lot. =]

Harry seems a bit... unbalanced? Lol.

I wonder how Hermione is going to react when Harry really does something that pushes her too far. Will she stand up to him?

Also, they are perfect for each other. They're both quite... uh.. kinky. =]

This is so great. I knew from the first sentence that this story would be quality. Great job.

Wow, this is getting even more intense. Harry and Hermione are fucked, really. If you're really staying true to the essence of these characters from the books, then once they get over this "honeymoon" period of their affair, they'll get a cold dose of reality and feel like shit - and I know Hermione's getting these bouts of guilt but really, she's still letting her lust for Harry cloud right over that. Both of them, despite what has been said, obviously haven't TRULY grappled with the fact that they are indeed having an affair. They are cheating on their spouses, one of whom is their mutual best friend, and the other of whom is just as close to all of them! Arghh. There is a shit storm brewing, for certain, but I have no idea how it's all going to go down.

I really can't wait to see where you take this. You've got me hooked, albiet reluctantly. Please update soon.

Wow, That was one helluva in-betweener!

That was an awesome update. Ron's last words during the dinner scene were hilarious. I think Hermione wasn't the only one guilty of romantisizing her situation with Harry because when he set her straight about the true nature of their relationship, I realized I was romantisizing it as well. I guess he had to straighten us both out. Lol. I absolutely live how the drama is unfolding.

This is a train wreck; a car crash waiting to happen. And this lasted chapter just proves why I think Harry and Hermione are being so selfish. Not that he's perfect, but poor Ron! He is trying to help save his sister and best friend's marriage, trying to save his best friend from being fired. And all this is happening behind his back. And Ginny. Oh, Ginny.

I just can't stop reading this story because you've taken a topic (infidelity) that I feel is usually black and white for me (be strong, don't cheat!), but you've made me think more about it. I actually felt badly for Hermione when she found out Harry was still sleeping with Ginny. That's crazy. Part of me is worried for Harry, that he's going to take a darker path.

Put this chapter really hit home because of who the true victims of this will be. The poor kids. Teddy walking in on them! Rose. James. And little unborn Potter. (Al?) When all of this explodes as I have no doubt it will, their families are going to be torn apart. The only good thing is they'll be too young to actually realize it. Oh story. Why can't I quit you?

Gosh, I am so in love with this story.

Part of me wants Ron to find out what the hell is going on, but the other part is wishing he never does because of the horrible fall-out that will ensue. The Weasley's have played an integral role in shaping Harry into a human being that is capable of loving. I truly believe they were the one factor that kept Harry from turning down the dark path that claimed Tom Riddle. So to know that he is betraying them, betraying Ron, in the most horrible way imaginable, I just can't even fathom it.

From the start of this chapter, you had me squirming. I LOVE your Harry! He's a bastard! But he's still very much Harry, just a much more jaded and Slytherin version, and what makes him so fab is that he's conflicted about it but still does what he wants. SEXY MOTHERF&*$%! Hermione cracks me up with her own inner conflict. I'm glad she told Harry all of that, and his reaction was so Harry. lol I was afraid he was going to retreat into himself and withdraw for good, so I'm glad he came back. That confrontation they had was HOT :) And now the drama starts. This is going to be so freakin' uncomfortable for everyone. I almost want everything to come out, shoot the horse and put it out of its misery! Looking forward to seeing how this meeting goes down. Great writing, as always.
